The Taylor Swift Experience was a ground-breaking 360º music video app that engaged with the most dedicated fan base in the world. Produced alongside Blank Space music video, the app enabled fans to explore Taylor’s main narrative throughout a beautiful mansion as well as discover backstories and find hidden messages that unlocked fan content.

The app came at the forefront of mobile 360º video for both iPhone and Android devices in high-resolution. Creating the app combined emerging spherical editing techniques, post production VFX, stills and video asset creation, and came together with bleeding edge app development libraries.

I sat at the intersection of all disciplines to coordinate and align all media and incoming version to the app’s functionality as the code was being written and improved to deliver the final product. To our surprise, fans began screen recording walkthroughs and step-by-step guides on how to unlock the hidden messages and extra content so that all could enjoy and explore the Taylor Swift Experience.
