Music For The Child

Music For The Child is an album for the first born child of two dear friends. I created the music as a gift to welcome their child into this world. A gift to him – as those who created him are a gift to me.

The titles to each track are experiences from within nature, a place I know most because of these two people and where we have enjoyed our lives together in connection and wonder.

This album was recorded in the winter of 2023, just after moving to Berlin. It draws on the love for and inspiration of Pauline Anna Strom, Suzanne Ciani, Steve Roach, and Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, and celebrates deep listening and calm environments.

The artwork for the album is the simplest form of another series of work (unreleased as of 2024). It represents the result of two worlds colliding, sharing each other and creating another.
