My mother and grandfather were both radio DJs. I started making DJ style mixes in 2014 after realizing that most of the music I discovered was via various DJ mixes and radio shows anyway. I posted songs that I found to a tumblr account because many of the songs in the mixes existed only on YouTube or Soundcloud. It made sense to learn how to make my own mixes out of this collection so I could share music that I was finding with other people.
After moving to New York City in 2014 I began throwing parties and performing mixes for my friends. These happen roughly once a month through 2018.
At the beginning of 2018 I bought a Roland TB-03 and a TR-09, borrowed my friend's Korg MS2000B, and got an Arturia Beatstep Pro to control the system. That setup has grown and changed over the years, and I continue to make releases on bandcamp.
I have also turned this passion into a live music setup for performance and I’ve been focusing on the live implementation of this practice for Data Security.
