Alternative Spring Breaks

In my last year of college I spent ten days with student volunteers and the Playa Gigante community on the south west shores of Nicaragua. The University of Oregon Alternative Breaks program hired me to document the students' work and journey through photography and video. The Alternative Breaks program continues to use this work to draw student interest on campus and donor funds that continue the Alternative Breaks' trips to Nicaragua and other places around the world.
When I wasn't filming I was photographing. These photographs are instances that remind me of the program's work and play. The full album can be found on my flickr.
